Dr. Cheyenne Holder
Meet Dr. Holder! Originally from the sunflower state of Kansas, she first found her love for animals through 4-H, showing pigs and competing in barrel races. She found her calling in veterinary medicine at the age of 14 when she started working in a clinic as an assistant. Not long after, she attended veterinary school in St. Kitts at Ross University and completed her clinical year at the University of Tennessee. In her free time, she enjoys baking, golfing with her husband, and taking her dog for long runs (these are more for him than her!). She looks forward to working with clients to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to their beloved pets!
Francine started in the veterinary business after a career as a competitive equestrian, still wanting that closeness with animals. As a technician, she continued her education and worked in emergency medicine and became a member of the Critical Care Society. The unpredictability of emergency medicine is what kept it new and interesting. In addition to managing APC, she still enjoys working as a veterinary technician, always needing the human/animal bond for balance. Although her husband and 5 dogs keep her quite busy, you will always find her near the water on her days off, boating, kayaking and everything in between.
Being raised on a farm it was no surprise April’s life would revolve around animals. From working at barns and dog kennels to exclusively caring for captive exotics at private zoos, her passion only strengthened throughout the years. Happening upon an amazing opportunity to work in a veterinary clinic opened her heart to a whole new world. She found her calling and is ecstatic to see where this journey leads her. She has two human children who keep her on her tiptoes whom she absolutely adores, 2 gorgeous cats and her heart dog. In her spare with her family, she enjoys the outdoors: kayaking, trail riding & hiking.
Alexis has always had a passion for animals since she was a kid, but when she was 14 her dog, Maya, was attacked and it hit home. Maya lost her ear and some movement in her tongue. She was the reason Alexis is where she is today. Every day when she comes into work, she is reminded of her Maya. “I wouldn't trade this job for anything in the world.”
During her down time, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, their 2-year-old son and their 2 dogs, Dozer and Stella. They love to go outside and play or go to the park. When they are not out enjoying the sunshine, the family loves to relax and watch Disney movies or play with trucks.
Karyn is New York born and raised. She came to Florida in the early 90s and found her passion when she applied for a job at a vet clinic. She remembers working hands on with animals and not having any experience. She grew from hard work, dedication, loyalty and teamwork. "Fast foward to 2020....Still in the Vet field....Loving every minute. I am that happy face that greets you, connects with you on a personal level and also helps you with whatever you may need!"
Client Care Specialist
Stephanie works here as a technician . She has always wanted to work in the vet field not just because she loves animals but because she felt this calling toward being able to help them in the bigger picture. Her dream is to go to veterinary school so that she can fulfill that calling. The past 6 years she has been working in boarding kennels until she could find a job in this field. When she is not working here she tries to split her time between working at a boarding facility, spending time with her boyfriend and her pack of dogs at home, and studying to get into vet school. Overall, her life revolves around animals which she couldn’t be any happier about.
